Does it look like you're missing a member of your team?
On a high level, Haystack shows only members who have been active in the past 6 months (no limit if Enterprise Plan). In this article, we'll walk through some steps on how to resolve this issue.
Potential Causes
Missing a Repository
New Member with No Activity
Member not in a team
Data Still Processing
How do we fix it?
Missing a Repository?
If you've tried the above steps then it may be this user is not in our system. This can be for a few reasons. The most common reason for this is missing a repository. If the developer works on a particular repository that is not included in Haystack, then they would not appear in our system.
Takeaway: Double check all your repositories are imported.
New Member with No Activity
Imported all your repositories and still not seeing the member? Is this member new to the team? Haystack only includes active members. If the member has not created a new pull request in the past 6 months then they will not be included in our system.
Takeaway: New members must create at least one pull request to appear in Haystack.
Member not in a team
Haystack calculates data based on teams. If a member is not included in any team, their data won't be used in the analytics provided. You can check if the member is in a team or not via teams page.
Takeaway: Members must be in a team for their work to be included by Haystack.
Data Still Processing
If you've gone through all the above steps then it's likely our system is still processing your information. In this case it may take upto 24 hours to pull your entire list of team members.
Takeaway: Wait 24 hours for our system to finish processing your data.
